1.) DISTRIBUTION
Update:
I have moved from the mainland US to
Hawaii. Many aspects of my life have been changed for the last 2 years and I
apologize for any distribution inconvenience this has caused. Distribution
channels have changed. The bottom line is that all my recordings are still
available through writing me at
laurenpom@aol.com or through emailing me from this website.(ie,
lauren@songbirdmusic.com or
lauren@laurenpomerantz.com.) I will personally make sure you get the
recording you are seeking. The distributors that still are distributing my
recordings are: New Leaf Distribution, Tara Publications, Ladyslipper and
SourceBooks. Here on Maui, you can find all my recordings in Maui's best music
store : Borders in Kahului, Maui.
If you contact me for recordings, I'll be happy to give this the personal touch.
I can personalize Cds now if you wish them signed. As of July 2005, I accept
checks and money orders. See the ordering page for details. I'm looking for a
viable credit card source for website orders. I was never paid by the company
that sent out my CDs online for several years and their excuses can only last so
long. They took the money and I never did receive any. At least people did
receive the music. So for now though, I'm back to the old fashioned personal
touch. I intend to make the website convenient again and will install the credit
card option in the future.
2.) Newly Released Recording :
I moved to Maui, Hawaii in July 2003 and
have been delighted with my dolphin and whale encounters since that time. I made
a new CD featuring the Maui Humpback Whales. As many people know, the whale
songs are deliberate and intelligent musical compositions of great fascination.
3.) Current Musical Explorations: I'm currently exploring my options for
a new CD of original compositions with some of the talented musicians who live
here in Maui. Moving to a new place, I'm just beginning again here. In 2005 I've
enjoyed doing concerts here with other artists, radio shows here featuring my
work, and a few new recording projects. I feel renewed and revitalized. I'm
ready to begin again. So be on the lookout for more musical work from Songbird
Music.
4.) ADDITIONAL PERSONAL SERVICES:
A. I have been working as a spiritual couselor and do personal sessions.
I was honored by receiving the name Sky Medicine Horse . Always learning, I have
completed my training in a 13 moon mystery school based on Native American Metis
Medicine and have received my certification April 2000: Full Sensory Perception
I, II, and III. I am available to assist to illuminate and clear energetic
blockages and bring clarity into your life situation. These sessions are both in
person or by phone.
B. I have also received my Minister’s License to bring ministry and music
to sacred gatherings. I’ve chosen to specialize at weddings where the power,
beauty and healing of music are so cherished.
C. I am trained as a Sound Healer and received certification from Tom
Kenyon and years of work in the field of toning and music. I can serve to assist
in your healing and also teach others in this capacity.
